Colette has built her reputation as an executive coach over 20 years of working
with executives in many organisations to help them develop their leadership potential
and improve their performance, both individually and in teams.
Colette is an accredited member of APECS, the Association of Professional Executive
Coaches and Supervisors, and is associated with several leading Business Schools,
including the London Business School where, since 1999, she has coached senior managers
on the School's Executive Education programmes.
Colette's background is in education and business, having spent several years teaching
in London followed by more than 15 years' practical business experience in a large
information technology and professional services company. She became particularly
interested in people development and worked on many in-company leadership programmes,
going on to deliver successful change and management development programmes to external
clients.
Colette is an accredited practitioner of several psychometric instruments including
the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), FIRO-B and NEO PI-R, and she is highly
experienced in the use of 360 degree feedback as a development tool. Her professional
training and development includes group facilitation, organisational consulting
and supervision with the Tavistock Consultancy Service in London, and Counselling
Psychology at Birkbeck College.
Colette's key expertise is in helping managers to build their capability in the
critical area of people management and leadership. Through increased insight and
self-confidence, her clients find they can significantly improve their effectiveness
and results. Colette's experience in executive development, together with a thorough
grounding in the psychology of individual and group behaviour, make her particularly
well-placed to offer a balance of sensitivity and understanding combined with the
practical realities of the business environment.

Colette's wide range of clients include the John Lewis Partnership and Waitrose,

Lloyd's Register. In the not for profit sector, she has worked with Save the Children
UK, NHS Trusts in South West London, several London Boroughs, and the Metropolitan
Police.
