Andrea coaches senior and high-potential individuals across all sectors, helping
them to develop leadership impact, overcome challenging issues at work, build their
emotional intelligence and use internal and external networks to progress within
their organisations. She brings in-depth international experience of the business
world through her work for blue chip executive search firms, combined with psychological
training and particular expertise in cross-cultural and career issues. She also
coaches at London Business School and Cranfield School of Management.
Prior to becoming a coach, Andrea spent ten years advising international organisations
in the UK, France and Belgium on the recruitment of their leading talent. At Russell
Reynolds she specialised in the Industry Practice, working with a range of FTSE
100 and FTSE 250 companies to find individuals for roles at Board level.
During this time, Andrea became fascinated by the individual career and leadership
journeys of the individuals she worked with. She realised that she was naturally
good at helping people fulfil their potential and decided to develop her interest
in psychology by taking the MSc in Career Management and Counselling at Birkbeck
College, University of London.
In 2007 Andrea began working at London Business School where she has coached a large
number of senior individuals on the Executive MBA Programme. Since 2011 she has
also coached international executives on the MBA Programme at Cranfield School of
Management.
Alongside her individual work with leaders, Andrea is highly experienced in working
with teams and groups, both at London Business School and in other settings. She
has run numerous 360 degree feedback and team-building sessions as well as designing
and delivering interactive workshops on career development and leadership skills.
Andrea is a qualified user of a wide range of developmental instruments including
the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), NEO PI-R and 360 degree
feedback. She uses these tools to help clients understand their personality, motivation
and skills in order to understand their leadership profile, strengths and weaknesses
and to gain insight into how they interact with others in the workplace.
Andrea's interest in the career journeys of high-achieving individuals has led her
to research the impact of career breaks on identity and self-esteem and she has
considerable experience of coaching individuals who are taking or contemplating
a career break or career change. She also runs workshops for women returning to
work after a maternity break.
Andrea has worked with a range of individuals from organisations such as Barclays
Bank, UBS, Burberry and Kingsley Napley.
According to a recent investment banking client, "Coaching with Andrea
was an extremely positive experience. The main result has been that my self-confidence
has grown... and my team's production grew significantly as I became more confident
and motivational. I was ranked at the very top of all MDs. I see the coaching as
paying for itself many times over."
Andrea has an MA in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge and speaks
fluent French and Italian.
